Have you tried COOLA? I just tried the brand this summer and I LOVE it! These are the three products I’ve tried from them so far, and I will definitely be trying more. Their tinted lip balms are probably next…
- White Tea SPF 50 Organic Sunscreen Lotion ~ I got this sunscreen in my Summer FabFitFun box. I had just read about COOLA in a list of safe sunscreens, so I was really excited to try it. Best part, it does not smell like sunscreen! For realz. I have an annoyingly amazing sense of smell, and I just smell a hint of the white tea. Not overpowering at all. I am a firm believer in 50 SPF for the face, so this one is perfect for me. If you are more of a 30 SPF person (please don’t wear less SPF than that on your face!), there is a cucumber one.
- Mineral Face SPF 30 Rosilliance Tinted Organic BB+ Cream ~ I picked this BB cream up from my fave spa last week, and OMG! Again, NO sunscreen smell. A nice tint to the cream, but not heavy feeling like a foundation. Paired with a good hydration serum (more to come on those soon!) it’s perfecto for a dewy summer glow.
- Eco-Lux Body SPF 30 Organic Sunscreen Spray ~ So since I loved this brand so far, I decided to check out their website. The other two products kinda fell in my lap, but I found this next one on my own. A safe spray sunscreen that smells like piña coladas?? Shut up, I need you in my life. The smell is not overpowering, but is 100% summer vacation.
I am in no way affiliated with COOLA, just sharing some summertime sunscreen recommendations. If I am going to be in the sun for longer than 30 minutes, I wear the SPF 50 under the BB cream, since it’s only 30 SPF. But if I am just going to be outside in passing, then it’s straight BB. What’s your current fave product for protecting your skin?
PSA: You only get one face, so protect it from sun damage. You don’t want to look older than you are, or end up like the leathery lady from There’s Something About Mary. Right??
