4 stars for An Anonymous Girl! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I read it in 2 days… Go preorder it on Amazon right now and you’ll have an excellent book to start off 2019!
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book in a just a couple days. I either consume books or read nothing at all. “It” kinda knocked me out of my book game I had going for awhile. I love to read, but I just didn’t want to read that book. But I’m weird, and cannot start a second fiction book at the same time. And it takes a lot for me to quit a book, especially from an author I like, but “It” gave me no choice after dredging through over half of the 1,100ish pages.
Good news, though, An Anonymous Girl brought me back! This book is so good. It’s a fast paced book that makes you NEED to know how it ends. The perspective switches between two characters to make it an even faster read. Morality and human nature are questioned, and right up until the end, it’s not 💯 clear who’s in the right, or if anyone actually is.
An Anonymous Girl is the second book I’ve loved from Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. “The Wife Between Us” is another fast read, that uses the same writing style of bouncing between two different perspectives. Both leave the reader unsure of who to trust.
Both books came from Book of the Month Club, BEFORE their actual release dates. I’m a huge fan of BOTM Club for both this reason and their prices. If you like to read, check it out! Depending on current specials, you may even be able to a free book or two, like I did when I signed up.
I’m reflecting on my favorite books from my 2018 reading list. What’s your fave book you read this past year?
