I enjoyed A Day in December so much, I am sad it’s over. I finished reading it last night, and I already miss the characters. If you think that’s weird, okay, maybe it is a little. Or maybe you should read it too and see why I gave it 4.5 stars. Amazon has it at 4.5 stars too, and it’s on the New York Times Bestseller List.
The book goes back and forth between Laurie and Jack’s points of view. There were so many points in the book that I had no idea how it could possibly end happily, or even how I would want the happy ending to look. A Day in December is on Reese Witherspoon’s book club list. I have read two from there, and really liked both, so I am interested to read some more of her suggestions. I also still need to read her book, Whiskey in a Tea Cup all the way through. I have skimmed through the pages, but all I can report is that it’s pretty and has a yummy biscuit recipe. Have you read any books from her “Hello Sunshine Book Club?” The other one I read is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.
